|
For all Boards Enter any of the Boards by clicking on its Link. Once there, on the extreme right of the top Jumpbar, click [Register], and fill in the requested information. A valid e-mail address is essential. Please remember to completen the 'Secret Question and Answer' ... This is required should you somehow lose or forget your password. Click [Save Profile]. Shortly after completing the form, you should receive an e-mail confirmation containing your password. Enter any one of the Boards by clicking on its Link. Once there, on the extreme right of the top Jumpbar, click [Edit Profile]. At the very bottom of the Profile Page, there are input boxes that allow you to change your password. After entering your new password (twice), tick (Yes) to 'Save Password', then click [Save profile]. Login to the Boards is cookie controlled. Simply delete any cookies from OurCastle, then re-enter your ID and Password exactly as it is on your original confirmation e-mail. If this does not work, click 'Forgot your password?'. Answer your secret question, and a new password will be sent to you. If all else fails, e-mail the The WebMaster explaining your problem fully, and giving details of what you have already tried. Your post most likely did not show up, because your browser did not reload the page: it simply pulled it out of cache. Please refresh your browser and it should then appear. To preview your post, choose the "Preview Message" button from your post screen. In "Preview Mode" at the top of the page, you will see exactly what your post will look like once posted. While still in "Preview Mode" you can edit your post in the boxes below 'The Preview: where you will find your original message. After editing, you can preview your post again, and if okay, just click the [Post Message] button. If you posted a message, and it has been removed from the board without your consent, then perhaps you didn't read the welcome message at the top, posted a message that is not within the regulations of this board, and the WebMaster removed it. It is also possible that your post was deemed too 'edgy' for the StoryBoard, and has been relocated in the Dungeon. Contact The WebMaster if you feel your post has been moved or removed in error. If you have seen the rest of the Castle pages, then you would have noticed that many of the posters here have their own pages. Those pages are subject to several requirements. 1) You must be a resident at OurCastle for at least one year. Having met the above requirements, if you would like to get your page up there, send an e-mail to The WebMaster, or his designee, with an image of your choice, in gif or jpg format. You can also include a sound file, but please make sure that it is a midi file, and not greater then 100 kilobytes in size. Occasionally we experience problems with the network connection. The Internet Provider that hosts the Castle and the Castle StoryBoard has more than once experienced routing problems. We have no control over this, but we can assure you, we will do everything in our power to get the Castle pages back up and running as soon as our service is available again. If you are receiving a message that says the Castle StoryBoard is down for maintenance, then that is exactly what is happening. The WebMaster has decided that it was time to archive the board, there are new images being added, or regular maintenance was required. We try to do everything in a timely manner, so the board will not be down for a prolonged period of time, but there are occasions where this can't be helped. Please bear with us; we'll return the board to posting status as soon as we possibly can. If by chance, you go to the board an hour later, and you are still receiving this message, click your Reload (Netscape) or Refresh (Internet Explorer) button. If this doesn't fix it, then this would be one of the occasions that could not be prevented. Hang in there and we'll have the board back up as soon as we can. |
