Before I knew what hit me..*literally* I was talking to Lady Kara then I was heading at a fast rate of speed toward the water. I could only stutter out.."What the......" and flail my arms to try and keep my balance.
I heard Lady Kara gasp and then I was full face in the water. Equally aware that my dress was soaked, and
my hair which was all nicely done up was a mess! I screamed and tried to get myself back on my feet. I heard Lady Caterina holler..."She dont know how to swim..." Which wasnt that bad since the water wasnt very deep. Had it been ..I would have been in trouble.
Lady Rose just stood there snickering...as I finally got to my feet and whirled around to see who dared to do such a mean thing to me. I seen Lady Rose standing there with a smirk, which made me all the madder.
"It was you..." I snarled out. Her face drained immediately. I was fuming and heard both Lady Kara and Caterina mutter "Ut oh..now you did it!" "Why did you do that my dear Lady Rose???" I demanded of her.
She looked at me and said.."Well I heard what you said to Lady Kara about Santiago Cinny, I didnt like you saying you could get him if you wanted too...hes mine, you know that" I took a deep breath...and lost it...
"Are you that insecure that you thought he would chose me over you??? And furthermore...I have my eyes set on someone else here in the castle...I dont need YOUR supposed man!!!" "How could you think I could do such a thing.....I wouldnt dream of doing that..I was meerly teasing Lady Kara and Caterina." Then I was on a roll..."And how dare you spy on us!!!" "And I am more of a woman than you can ever be!!!" I just stood there looking very mad at Lady Rose.,..waiting for a good answer.
"My dress is ruined..I have to go get ready all over..I'll be late. Sir John will be wondering where I am, maybe thinking that I stood him up." I screamed at her. She just stood there, not saying a word..looking very upset. I decided that I would teach her a lesson and drag HER into the water. She mustve seen the glimmer in my eye., and seen me take a small step toward her...for she gasped and took a step back from me..and cried out..."Cinny you wouldnt???" I smirked..and nodded my head..."Oh yes I would!!!!" I then glanced out the corner of my eye and suddenly rememebred that Santigo and Lord Cenutrion, Lord Ronnin, and Thor were silent and was watching us..and had seen the whole ordeal. I got raised eyebrows from them all. .A subtle hint that I shouldnt follow thru on my plan. I stopped and looked back at Lady Rose....who had tried to hide behind Lady Caterina. Lady Caterina said, "Oh no..your on your own Lady Rose" and pushed her forward..toward me.
I calmed down a bit..then turned toward Lady Kara.."Sis, could you please be a dear and run and tell Sir John that I will be a little.....errr OK alot late. And to go on without me and I'll just meet him inside the banquet room later" Kara nodded... "Sure Cinny..I will. Then I will help you get ready again" I smiled "Thanks dear ok" I watched Lady Kara trot off toward Sir John's place. I then directed my attention once
again toward Lady Rose..."And you" pointing at her..."I have but one thing to say to you...I would watch your every move tonight...I love you dearly..but you will get yours tonight!" I smiled. "I would watch myself around the punch bowl, for I would hate for you to have a accident and have punch spilled all over your lovely dress!!!" I smirked and raised my eyebrow. My eyes danced with fun!
"If you will excuse me..I have to go get ready... AGAIN..." I looked at Lady Caterina..."I will now need to borrow that other dress of yours if that's ok?" She smiled and said..."Sure sis" I took one last look at Lady Rose...and walked off....muttering to myself..and trying to wring out my dress. I did hear Lady Caterina tell Lady Rose ..."Oh Lady Rose, you havent been with us long... But i can tell you that Cinny is not joking. True she does love you..but it's always like this. anyone that does anything to her..will get it back 2-fold from her!!!" And with that being said Lady Caterina hollered at me..."Wait Cinny..I'll help you to get ready again" and heard her running to catch me. Leaving Lady Rose by herself to ponder what was just said and to wonder if indead I will truly get her back tonight.
She was wondering all right...thinking "Cinny wouldn't dare do anything tonight in front of all them??? Would she?" Biting her lip..she started to walk off toward the banquet room and away from Santiago , who was still there wondering what on earth just went on, and why did Lady Rose do that to Lady Cinamon????
And also wondering if Lady Cinamon would..(if what I heard about her is true...she can be your best friend..but do a dirty deed to her and she will get you back..) pay Lady Rose back. Thinking to himself..."I will have to watch them both tonight..and maybe forewarn Sir John to watch Lady Cinny as well.....
